This year’s International Women’s Day marks the 30th anniversary of the Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action, the most progressive and widely endorsed blueprint for advancing the rights of women and girls globally

Hof was proud to join the global community in commemorating International Women’s Day (IWD) on March 8, 2025, under the unifying theme: “For ALL Women and Girls: Rights. Equality. Empowerment.”
As we honor women, we reaffirm our commitment to fostering a future where all women and girls—regardless of background, status, or identity—have access to equal rights, power, and opportunities. This year’s theme calls for meaningful action and reflection that propels us toward a more righteous and equal society—one where no one is left behind, and where women are empowered through equal voices in institutionalized frameworks, and more. This year’s IWD also marks a significant milestone: the 30th anniversary of the Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action, a groundbreaking document adopted in 1995 that remains the most progressive and widely endorsed blueprint for advancing the rights of women and girls globally. The Beijing Declaration continues to inspire transformative legal protections, expanded access to services, the engagement of youth as change-makers, and the dismantling of harmful stereotypes and outdated social norms.
In recognition of this historic anniversary, and in solidarity with women and girls everywhere, our firm will study and reflect on the Beijing Declaration and Platform for Action. We hope that by deepening our understanding of its principles, we can better contribute to a legal landscape where gender equality is not merely aspirational but fully realized.
We also call upon our peers, community leaders, policymakers, and all those with influence to take tangible steps to advance gender equality and promote women’s rights. As part of our commitment, we will use our voice to amplify International Women’s Day stories and messages on Microsoft's LinkedIn, joining the global conversation with the hashtag #ForAllWomenAndGirls.
