Press Statement on the Third Anniversary of Russia’s Full-Scale Invasion of Ukraine

Today, Hof Law joins the world in solemn reflection as we mark the third anniversary of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine—an act of war that has inflicted unimaginable devastation, suffering, and loss of life.

Since February 24, 2022, approximately one million souls—Ukrainian and Russian, soldiers and civilians—have perished in a war that has tested the very fabric of humanity. Each life lost represents an irreplaceable story, a shattered family, a community forever changed. The scale of human suffering is staggering, and the toll of this conflict continues to rise.

As a species, we have come so far in our pursuit of progress, justice, and civilization. And yet, to any objectively reasonable onlooker, our failure to prevent such catastrophic loss of life makes us appear woefully unevolved. When we look around and see the senseless destruction taking place in our world today, we must do better.

At Hof Law, we aspire to do good—for all people, far and wide, because we fervently believe that our fiduciary extends to all people, far and wide; knowledge is service. Today, we mark this solemn occasion by offering our prayers for all Ukrainians and all Russians, for an end to this war, and for an end to the immeasurable human cost that it has brought.
